I am quiet, attentive, inquisitive, and curious. I could describe myself as a "raging introvert", content to be in my own thoughts and to gaze into another's eye without wasting the moment with superfluous words.
I am a student of history and read a lot; mostly non-fiction to understand our world, where we came from, and where we might end up.
I enjoy card games with family or friends - especially the games I played with my parents that now my adult children love. They are the joy of my life.
I love film and music, play (or played) the cello. I enjoy any music or film that stirs my soul, willing to shed a tear when moved. Casablanca remains atop my list.
I enjoy fine dining and traveling. There is much to the world that I would like to experience. My bucket list is long.
Life is short and as each day passes, each forthcoming day becomes that much more precious.
