Genuine, honest, funny, no-nonsense man starting over after 20 years. I spend a lot of time thinking, am introspective and willing to question my own convictions.
I am at home in a crowd of friends or alone with my thoughts. I am comfortable in my own skin and do not rely on other’s opinions for validation. I am a protector by nature and take my responsibility as the servant leader of my house very seriously.
I like to laugh, cook, eat, spend time with friends, dance, hunt, fish, work outdoors, read, listen to music and spend time with those I care about. I have a dry, sarcastic sense of humor that is self deprecating - those who are able to laugh at themselves will never cease to be amused.
When I care for someone, I am all in and often fight for the relationship long after it is time to give up. I am loyal to those who are loyal to me.
I call it like I see it. Some will call this judgemental, but I accept people where they’re at and don’t put unreasonable expectations on them.
I am a Christian conservative man who believes in the Biblical definition of marriage. I’m looking to make a friend, be a friend and eventually fall in love with and marry my best friend. I’ve determined through my failures that this is the key to a lasting relationship.
