About Me
I am very intellectual, intelligent, and educated. I tend to be logical and analytical, but can also be very intuitive. I am able to pick up on people's moods and tend to be sympathetic. I am not easy to get to know at first and can be reserved, but once I know you I am humorous, generous, and fun. I am also very family oriented. I like to spend time with my kids - 18 yo daughter in college and 14 yo son who lives with me. I am securely retired after a 40 year career in computers and information systems, so I like to spend time volunteering in my community...mostly with educational organizations. I am active socially and politically with educational issues. I enjoy reading, listening to music (mostly blues and classic rock), traveling, attending plays. For exercise, I race or cruise on sailboats and swim at the local community college pool.

I would like to meet someone for correspondence at first with hope that relationship might grow into something more. As I said above, "I am not easy to get to know at first and can be reserved", so if you are in a hurry for a relationship you should probably look elsewhere. we should share common interests - love of water and sailing is important.
