About Me
I love to cook, like all kinds of wine, I love books - reading is what I like the most, and love browsing in bookstores. I find interest in everything and have dabbled in many things over the years: painting, photography, astronomy, birding, stamp collecting, gardening etc. I also enjoy listening to music mostly classical, jazz or blues, walking in the woods especially in the spring and fall. I have traveled a little bit in Asia and Europe.
I am very easy going and enjoy reading, art, music, and nature. Professionally, I am a Banker and have worked in Canada and the US.
I was raised as a Catholic and educated in Catholic schools. But I am not religious and I am more Buddhist in my attitudes - I think mainly because of Buddhisms respect for all living creatures, because it does not require devotion or prayers to any God and because it requires you to take responsibility for everything you say and do. My maternal Grandmother was a Buddhist.
I enjoy art, and was a volunteer for a gallery at a previous employer and acted as a guide to people who wanted to tour the collection. I have belonged to Bird Clubs before and have banded birds with a conservation organization several years ago, but have not been very active the past 10 or 12 years, because of work and school.
