Tentang Saya dalam penuturan saya sendiri
(Published) writer, former college instructor (philosophy, history). Love books, ideas, and the arts. Working on my first book. Passionate about social justice causes, environmental protection/restoration, and animal rights/welfare. Long term goals include being able to read German (I've studied it at several points in the past but never stuck with it) and learning Italian.
Been separated for several years now and live alone most of the time. Going through the process of an amicable but slow-moving divorce. (It's a long story, about which I'll openly answer any questions you may have.)
Been in Rhode Island for more than seven years now. Ended up here kind of by accident (a change that's tied to the aforementioned long story). Interested in relocating to the UK, or to Canada, but if that can't be done I plan to move to, and settle down in, Chicago or Milwaukee at some point during the next few years. Am open to other possibilities though.
