Stuart Gold has spent 35 years working to protect Australia’s landscapes and communities. With degrees in Coastal Management and Natural Resource Studies, he began his career in the Northern Territory on national parks and Indigenous joint management, later contributing to the creation of Queensland’s Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. His work has spanned recycling, marine and private land conservation, and sustainability projects across the country. A climate realist, he supports the work of Professor Ian Plimer and believes in truth over dogma.
Beyond the environment, Stuart has long pursued the deeper questions of politics, spirituality, and hidden mysteries. He believes fully in one God but not in religion, grounding his life in a personal faith. More recently, he founded Northern Beaches Peoples Voice, leading local campaigns for fairer governance and community accountability. Whether in the heart of the tropics, across Australia’s deserts, or in the chambers of local government, Stuart’s path has been guided by a search for wisdom, integrity, and the courage to speak out.
