我眼中的自己

Canadian transplant living life in Texas, one adventure at a time. I lived in South Florida for about 20 years where I worked in Hospice and then became a nurse and worked in hospitals. My ability with computers led me into Informatics, which is working on the system that documents patient care and facilitates orders, provides lab results and such.
I moved to Texas when I was offered a full time job in informatics. I bought a sailboat in Sint Maarten and sailed her back here in 2014. I've been living aboard ever since and I love it. Being on the water and nature is inspiring.
I like to go out on trips when I can, the longest being going across the Gulf of Mexico to South Florida to visit friends. I also belong to a boating club which plans local social and boating events. Its a great group of people and I get to go on trips frequently.
I like movies, on the big screen or streaming at home. I love dancing. I enjoy companionship, sharing my experiences and my life with someone who enjoys the same things. I am very loyal and dedicated and I believe honesty and trust are the foundation of a lasting relationship.
I am currently preparing my boat for long term travel. The Florida Keys, Mexico, the Caribbean and hopefully the Med and South Pacific. Hopefully that will be sometime next year, whenever I am ready to go. I will not be sending money to someone I haven't met.

Passionate about life and living it to the fullest. She would have to like the ocean and enjoy being on the water. Open minded, sharing, caring and talking about feelings. Be willing and able to work together through difficulties. Life together isn't all wine and roses and you have to be committed to working on the relationship to keep it healthy and rewarding.
