我眼中的自己

I am not the social butterfly that lives for large gatherings of new people. While I deal with this for work, my personal life is about staying focused on those that matter most to me. I am fiercely loyal and those that know me know they can count on me. Time is our most precious commodity, so I reserve the bulk of this for family and very close friends.

Not completely introverted, but not a strong extrovert either. I am very comfortable being at home. If someone I care about wants to go do something I am very good with that. I'm usually not the first to suggest it though. I am often the first to schedule a trip, usually a cruise, or something else that is focused on spending time with the people closest to me.

We all have flaws. I hate hypocrisy, but being human I know that sometimes I am hypocritical about something (usually something small and silly). I don't mind being called out for this though, because I should be when I make this error. I believe in allowing others a lot of grace, because I know I am not perfect. I apply my work philosophy to my personal life, always work on improving a little more each day.

I believe in the saying 'work hard so you can play harder.' I like planning some kind of trip or adventure in advance to have something to look forward to. This makes focusing on work easier, because it keeps me focused on the true priority of life, how you spend your time and who you spend it with.

我理想的对象

I want to meet someone that pushes me to grow and be better in all things. Not that I'm a project, just someone that provides encouragement to me along the way. I want to meet someone that thinks traveling, especially cruising, would be a lot of fun. Someone that likes to snorkel/swim in the ocean or zipline in the forest.

I've been burned and not interested in games. I'll be open and honest, expecting the same in return. I do have a young teenage daughter that lives with me most of the time. She is a great kid, top grades, and she thinks the world of her father (me). I don't need someone to try and be her mom, she has one, that's not my point. I need someone to understand and be comfortable with that dynamic.
