我眼中的自己

I grew up in a small Indiana town, but 4 years were in Phoenix. After high school, I moved back to Phoenix and put myself through college: community college first, then a BA at ASU, then graduate school. It took 15 years, but I did that while making a living by fixing cars and buying my first house. I had a desire to be a history professor, I've had that job for 14 years now (I think). I have 3 brothers, one older and twin younger brothers, I'm pretty close to my older brother, the younger ones not so much. I have dogs, two "Plott Hounds" I got from a local shelter. I've never heard of that breed but I got them over a year ago.
I go to church regularly, but I do skip on occaision.
As a history professor, I love reading, libraries, museums, movies about old stuff, especially WWII. I own more books on the Second World War than most public libraries. Since my job is online, I prefer to not look at a screen in my spare time. I like the outdoors and I actually enjoy yard work and fixing things.
I like rock and roll, I used to go to the Oz Fest every time it came to Phoenix. Saving Private Ryan, A Bridge Too Far, and Patton are some historical favorites but I usually watch silly movies like Army of Darkness or the old Naked Gun movies.

I'm looking for someone that the above profile appeals to: likes the outdoors, wants to live in a small town, takes care of themselves. I want someone who is settled down in life, someone who is not wanting to make babies or looking to get some big promotion. I still need to work but I want to enjoy life.
