About Me

I was born into a large and diversified family. Irish , English and French. Kinda says it all.
I am stubborn, strong and passionate.
Three girls and two boys. 17 years separating the oldest to the youngest.
We have been through glorious times.. and near death scary times.
Our bond is strong.

For most of these travels i did so alone.

I travelled to see the difference between culture and social dynamics. The strengths and the weaknesses. Pearl Harbor brought tears to my eyes... i cried and prayed for those affected. I also went to Kuta in Bali, where they had the bombing in 2002. I visited Phuket, Thailand. I lived where the tsunami of '04 destroyed so much. It is amazing how such poverty stricken people can grow and survive, with a smile on their face. 'The land of smiles' was deemly put.


To describe myself i would have to say i am intricate. I have many layers and levels. That was my first tattoo. A celtic knot surrounded by a shamrock, with these words above and below 'An darna Cothrom'. It means the second level.
Originally i wanted it to say, ' The second chance', unfortunately i made a blunder. YET...everything happens for a reason... and the terminology makes sense to my life. There is much more to this tattoo but you will have to ask me when its the right time. This event changed my life.

My one other tattoo is on the left , 'Feet in the sand, heart in the stars'. Nautical stars embrace that blade. The stars are my best friends children, as well as my own niece and nephew. These are my god-children, they each have a colored star to their date of birth. It didn't matter where i was in the world, my heart was with them.

I strategically placed them both on my back. I can choose when i want to have them seen.



Relationship history:
I was in love with one man for a very long time. There was something magical about the way he made me feel and think. Like the world was mine to conquer. He made me believe in soul mates.
Christopher was murdered almost two years ago. We had not been together in quite some time, yet it felt like the darkest day of my life.

I have been single for two years to truly understand myself.
The relationship to yourself is the most direct and honest one you ever have to have, and i decided to do so i had to remain single and focused.
I had many things happen in a very short period of time.
Only when i could give myself time to work through emotional response and grieve a loss...could i get to where i am now. I am ready to love again.


Being a mom:

In the same year my child was born.
Raising a child as a single parent has been difficult, yet the best decision i have ever made.
My daughter brings me joy and awe every single day.
Some days i surprise myself at the abilities to multi-task on very little sleep...yet i find a way.
I do not get to sleep in, ever! And still...i smile every single morning =)
Working from home allows me the quality time i need with my child.
I love being a mom.


Other things about me:

Over the last seven years i have been writing a trilogy, non-fiction.
It is a book of mutual awareness. I have not been in a rush or under time limit. It has to be shared in the right way.

I am deep i am sound. Quite intellectual, but softly so.

Love live theater, music (everything has a time and a place)

I am selective and live a quiet life. Peaceful.

I am an open book and feel that only ONE right person needs to read this profile and get me. Life is meant to be lived and experiences shared. We each have the power to make our lives the best it can be. I believe in soul mates and true love.
