The world of international dating and Russian brides in particular is full of numerous myths and lies that do not properly capture the essence of the process. There are numerous myths that Russian women are infinitely more attractive than any other women in the world and that they will remain so well into old age. They are more stylish and better dressed over the course of their lives and have a better sense of health and diet as well. The truth is that while women are young, you probably cannot notice any difference. A beautiful Russian woman of 22 is likely no different from a beautiful 22 year old American, lest your taste specifically differs.

However, the truth in these myths lies in how Russian women age. They tend to remain in better health for longer, eating well and not gaining large amounts of weight. They dress well and take pride in their appearance without being overzealous.

Wanting to be a Housewife

Women in Russia are not all the same and so their desires vary as well. While many myths state that Russian women only want to stay at home and raise a family, with no dreams or career aspirations, you’ll find it varies from woman to woman. A woman who is well educated or held a good job will likely want to work in the short run, while a woman who has long dreamed of raising a family might be perfectly happy simply staying at home.

Where the difference comes in is with the way in which they approach these two options. Because Russia is still largely discriminatory against women in the workplace, many women never consider aspiring for higher positions or well paying jobs. There are so few after all.
