About Me
Well I've been on here for a while and I thought I'd update my profile, since all it said before was:
"I have a wide taste in music and it keeps growing! I also love to see bands live. I've been to see a few and also went to Reading festival last year.
I like to go travelling and went to Japan near the end of 2013, and have been to America the start of this year. My next plan is to see the wonders of the world, which will start next year as I'm planning a trip to China to see/walk on the Great Wall as well seeing some of the sights."
And I had nothing else filled in, so here goes extra stuff!
Yeah, it's hard to write about yourself like everyone says. It's like a job interview, but worse, at least with a job you have some idea what you're going for. So do I make this vague in order to appeal to more people, or shall I just tell you about me in the hopes that people might take a chance in my weird and wonderful world.
I guess in writing that I've gone for more weird and wonderful and probably turned a few people away. For those of you still here, enjoy.
I'm a guy who like a good story. If I find a book, game, TV series, film, anime I like I'll probably watch/read/play it to death in a day or two (depending how many episodes).
I like art, but couldn't tell you anything about style or the hidden meaning behind painting. I really like Vincent Van Gogh's work, and I find it moving and tragic.
I'm never sure if it comes across as confidence or arrogance to say about your own looks on a dating site. I guess I have days when I look in the mirror in the bathroom after a shower and think "not bad, kinda handsome" and other days when it's "did I sleep on my face, what the heck happened".
I'm confident and sometimes a bit cocky when I'm comfortable. Like at work, or with friends. That whole comfort zone thing. Outside of that I'm a bit more shy and reserved, since I'm not used to the area/people. Once I get use to whatever it is, or I've had a drink, I'm normally chatting away and making stupid jokes.
I'd say I have a good sense of humour. I can find the funny side in most things (it's hard to tell tone of voice with text, but most of this is done in a joking way).
Also kind, caring and generous to a fault.
