Quem sou eu em minhas próprias palavras
Inquisitive, conversational, unconventional, abstract & asymmetric thinker, otrovert, empathetic-a 'never stop learning, what's your thoughts on it, let's get it done' sort of guy.
I prefer to work alone, but I don't know as I want to get old by myself. Yesterday [12SEP'26] I spent half the day at the local library reading Chesler's "A Woman's Inhumanity to Woman" and listening to WetLeg [mostly] live performances-it was a great five hours.
I am on VA disability and have another claim pending [it may take three years to settle, with payment to file date], am starting a BS in cybersecurity through VRE [VA Rehab] with BAS; I am not immobile, although I do have issues with both knees, three sections of my back, both shoulders [right gets the disability], left ankle and will probably never run again, although I do workout and am starting a swim regimen this month.
I have a long time interest in Asian philosophy [primarily Daoist as I have considered myself such for nearly thirty years] but also Zen, Shinto & Theraveda Buddhism, as well as Western Esoterica [Hall, Blavatsky, Gurdgieff, et alia] as well as neijia [baguazhang, mostly] and am considering a non-monastic Daoist priest program that is liturgical but includes neigong & neidan.
I have a varied skill set and a smattering of languages [some Russian, German, Mandarin, Japanese, Spanish, French, Arabic] but am not fluent in any other than English.
I may be willing to relocate outside the US if it's an option-I like learning and meeting people with whom I don't share commonalities as it better reflects my understanding of myself, something I believe is a necessity for one to appreciate the limited time life offers.

Mature but not old, relatively fit and committed to personal growth without being obsessive about achievement who has varied interests that both inform and illuminate the soul...a go-getter who would rather catch a Bridgestone tattoo than cause one.
I thought I'd like to be a husband and father one day, but at 54 this year, father isn't in the cards, but I would like sharing time with someone who has "compatible parts" and is easy on the eyes as well as the heart & mind, but not boring.
