So, me in a nutshell. 😉. I’m a middle aged man who always thought that there was plenty of time for a family of my own. Now, I realize that I am running out of time. I spent my 20’s trying to build a career, my 30’s trying to save it, and my 40’s dismantling it. I know what it means to succeed, what it is to fail, and what it takes to survive. The thing I have learned about myself from all that is that I am a survivor.
Now, I find myself in a period of profound state of change in my life. I’m changing careers, changing houses, and hopefully expanding my family. But the more things change, the more they stay the same. The biggest thing in my life, being my elderly mother’s caregiver hasn’t changed and won’t as long as she needs me.
