About Me
I'm a mass of contradictions. I'm pretty shy and quiet until I get to know someone, but I'll speak my mind if I care about something. I'm a romantic that is also a realist. I'm more old fashioned in a lot of ways, but extremely progressive in others.
I am a girl that likes the comforts in life. In other words...I'm not much of an outdoorsy type. I do like hiking and biking, but camping really isn't for me. However, I love traveling when I can and enjoy exploring everything a place has to offer. In my wildest dreams (with endless funds) I'd travel the world and see as much as I could. Instead, I end up usually watching Netflix or playing video games most nights. I have a group of friends that I game with when we can get together. I also like trying new restaurants and finding all the little book shops around town. I'm an avid reader and also try my hand at writing. I have written two full novels, but I'm terrible at editing them. I might get there one day and actually publish something. I have a big imagination and I'm constantly scribbling down story or scene ideas in a little notebook. I'm also someone that is constantly trying to learn new things. I have an interest in the stock market and I play around with it some. I'm currently trying to learn more about it.
At this point in my life I don't think that I want children. That could change if it is something my partner really desires. I'd rather spend my life living to the fullest with someone special than in the endless cycle of child-rearing. If he has kids already then that would actually be fine as well. I do like kids! Also, I am not religious at all and think it's caused a lot of issues throughout history. I don't mind if my partner is religious, but I can't be.
Also I am not originally from Alabama. I don't have a southern accent or any southern proclivities. Just FYI.
About My Match
I like intelligence and kindness. The best thing that a man can be is kind to people and animals. It's what matters on the inside of a person. The looks fade after a while and I need someone with substance. I also hope that he cares deeply about some of the same things that matter to me. I always try to work on being a better person and I hope he does the same. I need a person that believes we should be the change that we wish to see in the world.
