About Me

I enlisted the help of a professional and here’s what she said to do:
1/ tell them who I am-starting with my most prominent positive characteristic and how I live my life.
Had a tough time with that one so I phoned a friend and he said “positive” . So I’ll go with that.
I am positive.
For what it’s worth here’s my list- that I was wrestling with-agreeable-affectionate-faithful/loyal-affectionate-mannerly-is that even one?-optimistic-humourous-mostly via some wit and story telling-affectionate-generous.
I think i am just a normal-regular guy-who works hard and loves his work-I own my own business so I am fortunate because I get to decide exactly when I work-so I plan my life by the weather and not the calendar. I will open your door-I will carry your things-oh and you’re going to need some vases.
I live my life trying to have fun-no matter what I am doing. Trying to combine working hard and not working at all is pretty easy really. I try to help people whenever I can. That’s about it.
2/ tell them what I am passionate about.
I am passionate about the outdoors-exploring the Canadian Shield-the Caribbean-love Roatan and Cuba-big cities-Catalina Island.
3/ Tell them what I am looking for.
I am looking for a long term-forever- relationship-a best friend and partner-a confidante.
4/ Who do I want to meet.
I want to meet a city mouse/country mouse.
The city mouse-Someone who loves the city-not just because there’s more food-but likes to dress up a bit and go out to local theatre-the show-the auditorium. But likes to dress down too and do some gardening-landscaping-renovations-entertain other city mice with a BBQ and charades-see who makes the best chili-or just scrunch up on the couch and watch a movie-order Chinese. Or go big city-find a last minute flight to NYC and get a room anywhere downtown-then just live on that block for a few days. Once I did that and ended up sitting on a street curb talking to Jake Lamotta-of “Raging Bull” fame for two hours-never to be forgotten. Or L.A. and stay on Venice Beach and people watch all the weirdos-and I mean weirdos-it’s so interesting-and hysterical.
The country mouse-Someone who just loves to take off camping-jump on a quad - down an old logging road-head off on a beautiful trail thru tall pines- then a rough challenging trail-ending up at a beautiful secluded/deserted lake-with a stashed boat-imagine:) Fish and fish- then to the beach for lunch -back fishing till she’s too hot-then back on the quad to a creek and just lay in it-maybe do some panning for gold. Back on the quad to camp and a bonfire where we sip “Tahiti Tingles” and tell stories till 3am. Tomorrow the exact opposite direction till we find a moose to watch-send up the drone and get some amazing pictures or a mom osprey teaching her kids how to fish-no drone-she’ll attack it-find an old trappers cabin and snoop around there for a while. Back to camp-bonfire and “Tingles” then watch a movie on the laptop.

Note: I sound like I drink a lot but I do not-as for occasional smoking-that’s just a really good Cuban cigar once in a while
